If you've ever wanted to experience the art and science of candle making, this workshop will give you the chance to create a single wick candle of your choice. During this 1.5 - 2 hour workshop, you will learn about the history of candle making and scents and will make a 100% soy wax candle with access to a fragrance library, giving you a wide selection fragrance oils from which to select your scent.
All equipment and materials will be provided, as well as complimentary tea or coffee and homemade cake in the morning sessions or a glass of Prosecco or soft drink in the evening sessions. Private bookings or parties can be catered for. A minimum of 4 people is required for a workshop and the maximum number is 8.

Enjoyed a wonderful morning with five friends at Rachel's lovely workshop. We all learnt so much about candle making and how to care for them. We came away with a beautifully smelling candle made with all natural products. Delicious homemade cake and drinks provided as well.

I booked the candle making morning as a surprise for our 16th (wax) wedding anniversary. It was a lovely set up. Rachel was very knowledgeable and we had a lot of time to do it and to pick different scents. There was coffee and cake too. We made some amazing candles to take home. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone!
The candle making parties are fantastic fun and a great evening out. They are the perfect balance of information and an opportunity to explore new fragrances with the added bonus of a glass of Prosecco. Rachel at the candle sanctuary was an amazing host for my 14 year old daughter and her friends. the girls all had a brilliant time and came away with gorgeous candles and wax melts which smelled heavenly. Rachel was very knowledgeable and only uses natural products. We shall be back!
